Baby Milestones
Beautiful baby smiles, little coos, tummy-time, sitting, crawling, standing & walking.
Your baby grows and changes rapidly during their first year, and I want to document these moments for you.
These simple milestone shoots are the perfect way to capture your baby exactly as they are. We will save the big props & themed backdrops for their one-year portraits, and use this time to focus on their squishy arms, chunky thighs, belly rolls, big eyes, tiny fingers & toes, and that beautiful smile. We can also incorporate items from your baby's newborn session as they grow! Sweet and simple. Just like your baby.
Milestone sessions are typically done when babies are:
~ 3-4 months (or when able to hold head up during tummy-time),
~ 6-8 months (or when able to sit unsupported),
~ 9 months (or when crawling),
~ 12 months (Happy first birthday!!)
Every baby is different and will hit these milestones at their own pace. We can schedule you accordingly!

~ $20 print credit
~ 30 - 60 min session (as needed)
~ 25+ fully edited digital images in colour + black & white
~ Full use of outfits, wraps, props
~ Up to 2 outfit changes if desired

Cake Smash + Splash
Cake Smashes are an exciting way to mark your baby's big milestone and are fun for everyone involved! Typically done in-studio so you don't have to worry about the mess, bugs, uneven ground, weather, etc., smashes take about 45 minutes from start to finish and include:
~ 10 pre-smash portraits
~ 20 cake-smashing photos
~ 10 tubby time photos (a super fun way to clean up your baby before strapping them into their car seat!)
~ $20 print credit
My personal preference is a style that is simple, timeless, and organic.
The fewer props, the better so that the focus can be on your baby.
If you prefer decorations for your session, please choose and bring
ones that are unique to your baby, safe and environmentally friendly.
Cake Smash Session 10th Anniversary Sale Price: $280 + GST
**$100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking with the
remainder due on the day of the session.
Add a Mini Family Session to your smash (approx.10 images) for only $180 + GST! ($150 savings)
**Best to book 2-3 weeks before the actual birthday so that you have the images in time to share with family/use for invitations/decor etc. Price does not include family photos unless purchased.
Once you book your session, you will receive a helpful Cake Smash Tips sheet with information such as how to plan & prepare, what type of cake to make or purchase, and a list of items to bring.
Need a baker? We have some amazing cake artists in the area that I would be happy to recommend! You can also add a 4", 3-layer vanilla 'naked' cake to your package for $25!

* Session fee is due in full at the time of the shoot.
*Due to the custom nature of each session, the scheduling flexibility required for newborn sessions, and the time I devote to my clients, I limit the number of sessions I take each month. It is best to book as early as possible!
*5% GST will be added to all session fees and 12% added to products.
*Product purchases must be paid in full before the order will be sent. There are no refunds on print products once the order has been submitted.
