Specializing in everything babyhood and childhood, your photos will remain timeless as my heart grows with each and every unique soul that I photograph. There's nothing that warms my heart more than seeing your children and family grow over the years! Your connection is everything to me. I am a baby and child enthusiast at heart, and known for being Trail's "baby whisperer."

My style is clean, simple, and organic. I want the focus to be on your connection with each other and the little humans (or fur babies) in front of me.

 

The fewer props the better! The tree hugger in me is a lover of natural fibers, fresh-cut flowers, rooms full of plants, cozy blankets and decorations built from nature (rather than single use discards). 

 

With 10 years of experience, (and capturing the newness of 500 beautiful Kootenay newborns!!), I have learned from some of the best photographers around the globe by participating in numerous workshops for posing, newborn safety handling & and care from neonatal nurses.

I took photography at SAIT back in the film days, but then went on to spend the next 11 awesome years working with pre-schoolers! (It's my absolute mission to make sure your kiddos feel comfortable, respected, valued, and heard while having the best time at their session!) 

​

Photographs have always been my FAVOURITE treasures! I've always loved flipping through old photo albums and shoe boxes full of old prints. In a world where time seems to go way too fast, I am inspired to capture the magic before the moment passes. I would love to help you fill your shoeboxes with photographs too!

Apart from running the studio, I am also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor! I offer ongoing classes right here in the studio that teach parents how to massage their babies to alleviate growing pains such as colic, gas/constipation, teething, and muscle tension. Outside of the studio, you can find me hanging out with my husband as we learn to navigate our new lives of being empty-nesters, now that our 18 & 19-year-old kids (our besties) have left the coup. You can find us camping, kayaking, puttering in the garden and we also LOVE a good road trip!

 

I have also recently joined the Greater Trail Hospice Society as a volunteer grief support worker and end-of-life bedside volunteer.
