Thank you for visiting and considering me as your photographer!
Specializing in everything babyhood & childhood, your photos will remain timeless as my heart grows with each and every unique soul that I photograph. There's nothing that warms my heart more than seeing your children and family grow over the years!
My style? Clean, simple, and organic. The fewer props the better. I'm a lover of natural fibers, fresh-cut flowers, rooms full of plants, and cozy blankets.
Family photos are my FAVOURITE treasures! I've always loved flipping through old photo albums and shoe boxes full of old photographs. In a world where time seems to go way too fast, I am inspired to capture the magic before the moment passes. I would love to help you fill your shoeboxes with photographs too!
Every time you look at your photos, they will serve as a reminder of how beautifully unique and special your life truly is.
With nearly 10 years of experience, (including capturing the newness of nearly 500 beautiful Kootenay newborns!!), I have learned from some of the best photographers around the globe, and have participated in workshops for newborn safety handling & care from neonatal nurses.
You can find comfort in knowing that safety is always my first priority. Closely followed by offering you exceptional service, creating beautiful images for you to treasure, and offering high-quality Canadian-made wall art, photo books, and prints.
I attended SAIT in Calgary for Photography back in the film days, but then went on to spend the next 11 awesome years working with pre-schoolers! (It's my absolute mission to make sure your kiddos feel comfortable, respected, valued, and heard while having the best time at their session!)
Apart from photography, I am also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor! I offer ongoing classes right here in the studio that show parents how to massage their babies to alleviate growing pains such as colic, gas/constipation, teething, muscle tension, and more! Check out my GLOWBaby website for more info: www.glowbabymassage.com
Outside of the studio, you can find me hanging in the garden, kayaking with my family (we have two amazing kiddos, our besties, who are 17 & 19 years old). I also LOVE a good road trip! And this fall...I will be joining the Greater Trail Hospice Society as a volunteer grief support worker and bedside volunteer.
You can find my studio in downtown Trail at 1334 Cedar Ave. It's street-level, so strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs are welcome!
